Place Your Bets... The Results Show!

Holy Jeebus.

I hope you took the over on my previous question about how much sewage that MMSD would dump in the lake as a result of all the rain we had the last two weeks.

Drumroll please......

If you had 2.9 billion gallons as your guess, please step forward.

No one? Anyone??? Bueller???

2.9 billion gallons. OMG. That's alot of shit. Now, it's mixed rainwater and sewage - but that really doesn't make it any better now does it? Diluted human waste is still human waste. But 2.9 BILLION gallons. I can't even picture how much shit that is.

What the hell did they ever do before they spent 2 billion dollars on that Deep Tunnel? And no one gets fired for stuff like this. If I decided not to file my TPS reports for a week at work one time, there'd be hell to pay. But these bureaucrats can piss away taxpayer money, and dump all this raw sewage into the environment, and there's ABSOLUTELY no consequences for them. How have we survived this long as a society, let alone as a city here in Milwaukee???

Godspeed Funnyman...

maybe a poor wish on my part after seeing your thoughts on this...

Hollywood, Here I Come

The road to stardom starts now.

Our game from Saturday night will be broadcast on the Time Warner Sports Channel ( 32 here locally ) at 7:00pm Monday night, and 10:00am Tuesday morning.  ( check your local listings for the Tues am time, I'm 95% sure I got it right ).

It will be fun to watch if you're a Spartan fan, not so much if you're a Monarch fan.  You can see me go 9 for 12, and even run around a little out there.

Sadly, there was no post game interviews, but it will be interesting to see how they handle the broadcast.

I may have to change my cell number now, and go out in public with a bodyguard, but I'll try to remain humble.  And I sure won't forget about all of you on my way to the top.

Touchdown 2

Here's the second touchdown pass of the evening - a 21 yd pass to Guettel.

And yes, I'm wearing number 10, not number 9. But since I couldn't have 9, 10 was my second choice. Looks pretty good on a QB, right Nort? ;)

Touchdown 1

Here's the first touchdown of the evening - a 21 yd pass to Shay.

So That's How It Works...

Had the opening game of the 2008 season last night. T-Storms came through the area a couple of hours before the game, and it looked like it might be a repeat of last weekend all over, but we were only being toyed with... and the weather ended up being real nice for the game.

And we took advantage of it too. We ended up winning 38-6, with the Predators getting a score in the last minute of the game. We built up an early 20-0 lead, and I even had a hand in that, starting off the game going 3-3 with 2 touchdowns.

Damn it felt good.

Of course, it's pretty easy when you're surrounded by some spectacular talent, and you're not being clobbered on every dropback ;)

Next week, it's the Monarchs. If I can get my hands on some pics, I'll post em soon.

Place Your Bets!!!

Any one want to open the bidding on just how much sewage MMSD is going to have to dump into the lake because of this storm???

All bets are just for fun though, because gambling would be illegal. It would be illegal like if a private company dumped raw sewage into the lake. But if we bet for money, it would be unlike MMSD dumping sewage into the lake, which is perfectly legal.

Just Kidding

I said once before that there's a reason that they call it "Mother" Nature....

Cuz a man would never fark with the opening season kickoff.

Instead, we got cancelled for the night, and my chance to start against a leading contender for the American conference was quelched.

This sucks.

GameDay!

Woot!
